Swindon Borough Council are currently undertaking a strategic review of the key areas of our catering provision, with a view to investigating, and if appropriate, developing external partnerships to help drive our business forward.

Our Prospectus is intended to highlight the catering areas being reviewed, and gives a description of current arrangements in place.

PHASE 1

The scope of the Review covers the following:

  • Lydiard Park and House
  • STEAM Museum
  • Coate Water Country Park
  • Barbury Castle Country Park
  • Town Gardens
  • Queens Park
  • Swindon Bowl Concerts

PHASE 2

Swindon Borough Council currently also operate 10 Leisure Centres and a Golf Venue of which three, Oasis Centre, Link Centre and Broome Manor Golf Complex, have profitable catering and retail operations. Swindon Borough would be keen to work with a partner (or partner)s to maximise the income potential from these. The current throughput of these primary venues is circa 2 million users pa.

Anyone interested in expressing an interest is invited to apply for a full Prospectus that highlights the catering areas being reviewed, and gives a description of current arrangements in place.

Estimated value of the requirement may not be relevant since the responses will need to demonstrate an income stream to Swindon Borough Council.
