This new short course has been developed to meet the needs of the growing number of artists, musicians, performers, creative writers and others who currently work with, or wish to develop their skills in working with people in health, community and social care settings. It will also benefit health and social care professionals such as nurses, doctors, teachers, occupational therapists, creative arts therapists and managers who wish to explore the use of arts based approaches in their practice and service delivery. The course can be undertaken as a stand alone CPD programme or can form part of an accredited programme of study leading to a Graduate Certificate in Community Arts and Media Practice or a range of
postgraduate awards.
