‘Subsidy Junkies’
A day of practical survival strategies for arts fundraising
Friday 26 March 2010
Kings Place, N1, London
It is a pivotal moment for the arts as the sector is faced with the serious threat of funding cuts. Recent articles in The Times and The Stage highlight the concerns around predicted budgets reductions.
What are the new business models and credible opportunities available to develop new types of partnerships with the private sector? What can we do collectively?
Join us for the ‘Subsidy Junkies?’ one-day symposium on 26 March in London to explore this changing landscape, learn practical survival strategies, seek out opportunities and generate new ideas to stay financially healthy.
Book now to guarantee your place. At the low cost of £80 (ca. £68 + VAT) for Arts & Business members, places are starting to fill up fast.
This one day symposium, presented by Arts & Business, will include panel discussions looking at different business models in the arts and getting boards engaged with fundraising along with interactive workshops on pitching to business, major gifts (making the ask) and the importance of looking after your supporters (donor care).
Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided and there will be an opportunity at the end of the day to network with peers and presenters.
