Are you coming to the Big Arts Day?
Here’s the stuff you really need to know
First off yes it is FREE
that’s FREE entry, FREE performances and workshops all day, FREE parking and FREE fun!!
It all kicks off at 11.45am under the balloon arch with the Mayor and Swindon Samba Band, right by the Visitor Centre.
The activity/event field will close down at 6pm with the exception of the Suju Dance Tent but activity will step up on the mainstage with performances right through till approx 10.30pm (depends when the sun goes down!!) leading up to the digital spectacular finale. Should be all over by 11pm, so not that late for the kids – go on keep them up it’s a one off and it’s Sunday the next day, so you can all get a lie in!
Food and drink are on sale all day but you can also bring your own picnic – no glass for obvious reasons.
PLEASE help us keep the site clean, pop some hand wipes, tissues and stuff in your rucksack now!
Main entrance for all local performers and festival goers is off Hook Street you will be directed to FREE car parks.
Grab a copy of the FREE Frequency Magazine Big Arts Day Guide it’s got everything you could possibly want to know about the day covered, including the site map and programme.
OK now the tricky bit, what to wear? Not sure yet hopefully no rain but may be a bit cloudy, that’s OK but suggest you still bring sun stuff just incase.
see you there!
