Fantastic first creative meeting with our young composers. Theo, Korim and Luke are going to collaboratively create the sound for our show. Under the direction of Paul Ashman and joined by just a few more young musicians this team are going to lay the soundtrack for our search. All of the lads are passionate about music and equally passionate about the Swindon scene. All are uniquely talented and thrilled at the opportunity to take part in such a high profile project so early in their careers. We talked about how the Swindon music scene is really taking off and being discussed seriously in the industry – the legacy that hosting Radio 1 Big Weeekend has generated for the local scene and the success of local independent music venues such as the Furnace, Riffs Bar, The Vic, to name a few. There was an air of confidence and technological expertise, two qualities that embody the future of Swindon?
