Swindon Open Studios is back!

What is Open Studios?
It’s when Swindon artists open their studio doors, or showcase their work in a number of venues over 2 weekends in September. This event is organised by a committee of volunteers who are passionate about art and keen to publicise the artwork being produced in Swindon.

How long has Open Studios been taking place in Swindon?
The first Open Studios was in 2004, then 2006, and since 2008, there has been one every September.

How does it work?
A number of local artists will be opening their studios to the public over 2 weekends in September – the 10th/11th and
17th/18th from 11am-5pm.

You will be able to see their work and talk to them about it, have the opportunity to buy a piece of work if you wish, and, in some cases, enjoy a cup of tea in the garden!
