DESCRIPTION:SALOS (Swindon’s Premier Musical Theatre Company) are thrilled to be performing one of the best loved musicals of all time ‘My Fair Lady’.
Often referred to as the ‘perfect musical’ the story begins on a rainy night in Edwardian London where Henry Higgins, a Professor of Phonetics, encounters Eliza Doolittle, a cockney flower girl and declares to his friend Colonel Pickering that he can transform Eliza into a Duchess. 
Eliza moves into the Higgins household and so begins a gruelling course of phonetics and elocution lessons so that she can speak and act like a lady. Several months later Eliza is a triumph at the Embassy Ball and whilst Higgins later takes all the credit for this, Eliza angrily leaves him and Higgins realises he can’t really live without her.
With such unforgettable songs including ‘Wouldn’t It Be Loverly’, ‘With a Little Bit of Luck’, ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’, ‘Get Me to the Church on Time’ and ‘On the Street Where You Live’ this truly promises to be a show not to be missed.
