The work shown in the house has been developed through the exploration of personal themes following several visits by the Great Western Embroiderers to Lydiard Park. 
Sketches, photographs and observations have inspired our work. The preparation for the exhibition has prompted us to explore new techniques and subject matter and to work in new ways. For us all this has been an opportunity to broaden experience. We are very grateful to the staff of Lydiard House for giving us this chance to exhibit our work.
