During the month of March Swindon photographer Josie Williams (LMPA) stages a creative photographic exhibition at The Arts Centre, Devizes Rd, Swindon. Josie is a long established photographer with a career spanning over 25 years in both the creative arts and press. During that time she has had many solo exhibitions most famously the Wiltshire Hall Of Fame, featuring celebrities who lived or were born in the county. Her other notable exhibition was The Light Fantastic which features photographs of the M4 at night time, but captured in such a way as to take the images to another dimension of creative swirls of light and alien destinations.
In recent years her role has been to inspire young minds, working as the Community Arts Development Officer at Commonweal School. In her job she photographs events and this is the main stay of her new work which makes up her new exhibition, ‘Now And Then.’
“ It has been some years since my last exhibition, but my creative gene is rising to the surface again and I hope people enjoy looking at some of my old stuff and also the new,” commented Josie.
All photographs are on sale from the Box Office and can be viewed during the Arts Centre opening times, Mon – Fri 10am – 5pm or up to 10pm if there is a show, Sat 10 – 1pm or up to 10pm if there is a show.
