African Drumming Classes- Highworth
08 Sep - 08 Sep | £6.00
Highworth Town Council Community Room
New African Drumming Classes starting 8th September
Highworth Town Council Community Room 8-10pm £6
Complete beginners are very welcome. We have drums for you to use. This group is for people like YOU. Any size, colour, height, weight , age or hair do!!
We make an absolute racket and have a laugh..We also DO learn traditional African rhythms, step by step, copying and repeating, the whole group together. Each rhythm has several different parts, some easy, some more challenging, so there is always something to suit everyone, old hand or absolutely new to drumming.
We also learn Dundun drum patterns for each rhythm. The dunduns are a set of 3 double ended drums played with sticks and accompanied by a bell attached to the drum.
If you are reading this, would like to give drumming a try but are feeling nervous, or have any extra needs, text or call Alice for a chat.on 07719663883 or visit our website www.omanye.co.uk
