The Commonweal School – A Performing Arts Academy, cordially invite you to this fun fundraising event staged in the school’s main hall on Friday October 14th. Tickets priced £10, including a Ploughman’s supper, are now on sale from Ali Clarke in the Finance Office tel 01793 612727 or email your ticket order to aclarke@commonweal.co.uk Please invite your friends and relatives as they will be most welcome. Numbers are limited and are on a first come first served basis. A reasonably priced bar selling wine, beer, lager and soft drinks will be available.

‘The music is mainly traditional dance tunes from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. We also play a selection of music from the Bourbonnais area of central France, played on the traditional instruments of the region, the Grande Cornemuse (French Bagpipe) and Vieille a Rue (Hurdy Gurdy). We add some ‘Old Time’ music from the Appalachian Mountains and a touch of 1920’s Jazz. ‘
