If you are one of the millions of people in the UK with a digital camera, and you want to get better images from it, Gale Photography can help you. You can choose one of our photographic training courses or come along to a fun Photo Trek.

Our venue-based courses offer you DSLR training, and can help you to develop your creative photography. The courses are either as groups of no more than 10 people, or one-to-one.

You may prefer your photographic training to be “al fresco”. If so, come along to one of our Photo Treks. Our Photo Treks are a great way to have an enjoyable, stimulating, walk in a beautiful place, and have “real-world” photographic training at the same time. On the Trek we’ll show you how to see images in the world around you, and teach you the camera techniques needed to capture those images.

If you would rather leave the photography to us, then choose our relaxed and fun portrait photography service. One of our clients, when she saw her images, asked if it was, “normal for people to cry?”.

You may be an interior designer and want unique Fine Art photography to enhance your scheme, or may simply be looking for fantastic images for your walls. We can help. Our “Invisible Beauty” series is a new range of stunning abstract images printed on directly on to aluminium.

We’re based in South Oxfordshire, (but handy for Swindon, Wiltshire), and the best time to call is between 9.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Derek Gale

Photographer
Derek is the photographic brain behind Gale Photography. Passionate about photography since he was a child, he is rarely seen without a camera. His people photography really brings out the subject's character, and his personal images create moods, and challenge the viewer to put their own interpretation on them. Derek has had several successful one-man shows, has exhibited in Oxfordshire Artweeks, and taken part in a number of art festivals in Swindon. He has 17 stunning images in the limited edition Blue Floral Series, and his image, "Red Heat of Battle", won a Judges' Gold Medal in the International PhotoArt competition. Eleven of his images were selected for the prestigious "Living Exposure" fine art photography auction held at Bonhams in London.
