Swindon ACT provides drama workshops to the adult community (18+ years) in and around Swindon. Whether you are a keen amateur actor wanting to develop your technique in a particular area, or a complete beginner who wants to build confidence and communication skills, we offer weekly classes to suite everyone.

As well as our weekly acting classes, we also offer one to one tuition (16+ years) and bespoke workshops for businesses/organisations and amateur theatre groups.

Training in acting has often been reserved for young students or professional actors but we believe that drama should be available to the local adult community and not exclusive to those already well indoctrinated.

Swindon ACT is run by local professionals. Workshops, classes and private tuition are run by trained post-compulsory (+16) teachers, with professional experience in acting.

Drama Teacher
Drama is led by Luke Mooney BA (Hons), PGDE. Luke is a well-rounded and experienced actor who trained at the University of Hertfordshire where he gained his BA (Hons) in Performing Arts. Since graduating, Luke has worked as a professional actor and has been teaching drama for a number of years. Most recently he has gained a PGDE in post-compulsory education.
